《Counterpoint》- Delphic 在夜晚我跑過街道和空蕩的迴廊我要去找尋我的另一面我那鎖在紅色房間門後的另一面我努力抬起頭不讓自己垂頭喪氣而你仍然沒有回來也不在附近似乎我們從沒相識告訴我今天一切安好今天沒有什麼事出差錯告訴我今天任何事都沒錯今天沒有什麼不對勁哦但所有我知道的事所有我記得的事卻突然都不見了有人告訴我今天一切安好今天沒有什麼事出差錯有人告訴我今天任何事都沒錯今天沒有什麼不對勁今天… 我告訴自己沒什麼不對勁所有事情都跟以往一樣 ※※※ 　　我想這是一首關於分手之後的歌。在心中不斷對自己說「加油，別垂頭喪氣，所有事都會好好的。」並且同時想要找到自己的 counterpoint，跟原本的自己互補的一面，或許可以解釋成我們常常會想到需要改變自己，脫胎換骨的意思。其實是一首滿容易感同身感的歌。即使他說是 "someone tell me"，但我想這個 someone 是指自己吧，或許可以說催眠自己，安慰自己。反正人在努力堅強時，不都是用這種催眠自己的方式嗎？的確，在曲子後面不斷地喊著 "Today...." 以及 "nothing, nothing, nothing..." 不正是可以感覺到那樣的無力和軟弱嗎？　　最近不斷地被這種帶有電子的音樂攻擊，從 New Order 的《Temptation》開始，接下來是被 MGMT 的《Time to Pretend》和《Kids》洗腦到整整一星期也飆到200首左右。接著便是這《Counterpoint》了…像這樣的音樂神奇的地方在於，不論它的歌詞是什麼，也許是沈重的，但強烈的律動感總是會讓人忍不住搖擺身體打拍子！想到這幾天我在辦公室不自覺地搖頭晃腦和打拍的腳，大概會被同事想說這個人怎樣怪怪的…但我真的是愛死這首歌了！　　而《Counterpoint》的MV，雖然我看不懂，但是它對我有莫名的吸引力，是我喜歡的質感、喜歡的男主角和女主角的長相、喜歡的明亮畫面、喜歡的優雅的穿著（沒錯就是那件大衣）、喜歡的慢條斯理的一舉一動、步伐甚至是靜止…可以在右邊側邊欄位觀看這 MV（或是開啟在新視窗。）　　最後呢，我要大又推薦下面這個 Live，只能說實在是太棒了，在這 Live 中，吉他的音量稍大，但正好是我覺得這首歌最讓人銷魂的啊（1:30那段超級明亮的和弦）以及最後的4:56時，吉他和燈光同時的轟炸，都把心情拉到最高點了。不得不說拍攝這影片的人也拍的很到位，對吉他手主唱和鼓手的特寫都很恰當。還沒看到 Live 時，我以為鼓是用像是 The xx 的鼓機或是合成器做出來的，想不到真的有位鼓手，滿滿的鼓點，還有充滿碎點十分好聽的過門。主唱的聲音加上吉他加上鼓點，這首歌我真的是無從挑剔！ ※※※ 《Counterpoint》- Delphic Late at night, I'll run through the streets and empty corridors.
